Class Descriptions
. Summer 2010: Tuesday Afternoons: 4 PM - 6:30 PM $40 per 2-1/2 hour session. (Inquire about discounts for teens 13-17) Wednesday: 9AM - 3:30 PM Mentoring workshop. $50 per session. (Must have completed beginning oil painting series.) Fridays: 9AM-1PM Variety - Beginning Oil Painting Series $60 per 4 hour session.
A
series of oil painting classes for all levels.
Currently scheduled on Friday mornings for adults and on Tuesday afternoon for
teens. The series includes paint-a-long type projects, and one project from
your own photo. (One floral, one still life, one landscape, one portrait
in monochrome, one project to be selected appropriate to each class as a group,
and one project set-up from your own photo, to be completed as independent

SEPTEMBER 2010 GUEST ARTIST ELIZABETH ROBBINS PRUITT .
Still Life Workshop. Paint from your own still live set-up. Intermediate. Three full-day sessions. Elizabeth will demonstrate each morning and you will compose and paint your own still life in the afternoon. Each student's workstation will include an easel, lighting and a stand or shelving unit with a shadow box in which to compose a still life. (You will not need to share a set-up box.) Bring your own props for your still life or come a day early and we will shop the thrift stores of south Tampa together! Enrollment
Limit: 12 students.
Class
Instruction Fee: Supply Fee: To be determined. Will include a charge for medium, solvent and fruits and flowers for the still life. A variety of canvas surfaces will be available for purchase at the studio. Students may provide their own paint or arrange for a pallet fee though the studio. Space in this workshop is limited! Payment of the entire teaching fee of $360 is now due to reserve your space in the class.
Workshop Hours: Studio opens at 8 AM. Hours of Instruction: 9 AM until Noon and 1 PM until 4 PM The Studio Closes daily at 5 PM during workshops.

A 3/4 view portrait of a young girl after the original by Johnnie Liliedahl. The face and flesh areas of the arm will be completed in Class in a one-day session. Enroll in the second day/session to complete the dress and add enhancements to the background. Class Fee: $100 per person for two days at my studio Supply Fee: $45 Includes linen canvas board, paints, mediums, solvent, reference photos, line drawing and abbreviated instructions.

A profile view portrait of a young girl after the original by Alexie Harlamoff. The project is best completed over a three day workshop. Additional lecture and an instruction packet are included regarding developing a portrait from a photo. Those who paint at a faster pace will complete two portraits.
